Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
can you file bankruptcy if you have a (old, like 10 years ago) court ordered judgment against you?
Will the bankruptcy clear the judgment? I have a home that I can not put in my name because of this judgment.

Yes you may, and yes it will. That is one of the primary reasons people file for bankruptcy. http://www.anderslawonline.com
