New York Bankruptcy Lawyer in Elmira A motion to avoid a lien is a rather complex issue for a layman handling his own case. Usually if you have an attorney the attorney handles this for you.

Nonethless, if you are insistent on becoming a bankruptcy attorney to process your own case, you need get the local rules, usually available on the courts website which will explain in technical terms, the correct procedure. You might also try hanging around the bankruptcy court and asking some attorneys of a case where it has been done so that you can get all of the paperwork and try to copy it.

If you do both of these things, you may be able to handle it yourself, such as the person who rebuilds his own transmission successfully on the first try.
