Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
I filed Chapter 7 in 2008 and tried to save my home in Chapter 13 2 times. I was unable to do so. Do I need to re-File A chapter 7 so as not to have the debt on myself ???
I also still have over 15k in Property Tax to deal with.

Property Taxes usually go with the home after a foreclosure, so the debt shouldn't be on you "in personam" although I can't speak as to what the tax assessors billing practices may be.
