Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
foreclosure
I filed chapter 7 because of foreclosure . i really would like to keep my house but the forebearance agreement would be to much money for me to catch up without a modification plan is there anything I can do to get this modification or should I just walk away when the chapter 7 is discharged .

Re: foreclosure
Why not ask the bank for a modification?
The trustee should be able to assist you in negotiations with the mortgage company.
