Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
installment payments
I recently purchased a couch from Castro Convertible on credit. It came with a lifetime guarantee. Castro declared bankruptcy recently but I'm still getting bills for the unpaid balance. Must I continue making payments? Or, has the banckruptcy created a breach of contract thus excusing any further payments? Thank you.
