Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

Hi my name is katie. I really need some help. In 2001 I was laid off from my job and shortly afterward my husband was laid off from his. in order to be able to pay our bills we used our credit cards and ended up 60.000 in debt. Well, we ended up in bankruptcy court and have been paying off the bankruptcy for almost 4 years we have about 11/2 years to go. we were actually getting back on track when I was laid off again a little over 2 years ago and I have been unable to find work. We have had to struggle but we have been managing and keeping up with our bills but now I have exhausted my unemployment benefits and we don't want to lose our home. We are both in our 50's. Is there anything we can do to refinance our home to make the payment smaller or anything as far as the bankruptcy goes to help?

do you have any advice for us
