I am currently in Chapter 13 bankruptcy in Nassau County, Long Island, NY. I think I have about 8 payments left but am not sure as to how I can find out when it is completed. I cannot seem to locate the original documents. Help please?

Re: Length and term of bankruptcy
The easiest way to find out is to call your trustee to see what the status of your chapter 13 case is. In Los Angeles, most Trustee's send out a semi-annual statement that shows the basic information regarding the plan and the status of payments. If you have access to the internet, go to www.13network.com and see if you Trustee is listed. You can view your case information on line. You can also get the information from the court or a local bankruptcy attorney may be able to help you get the information.
