Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
Is there a limit the number of times I can file bankruptcy?
I have filed 2 other times before the first time was a long time ago with my husband, we filed chapter 13. I has been discharged for a while now.
The second time I believe was in 2007, I filed chapter 7 by myself.
Right now my wages are being garished by one company and I was just notified that two other companies are going to garish my wages. One of which is for a truck which was repo about 5 years ago and is for over $20,000.
I think I really need to file bankruptcy one last time if it is possible. I do not want to lose my house or my car. Can you help me?
