Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
marital status
My daughter is separated(divorce pending) her husband wants to claim bankruptcy wil all of there joint bill have to be paid by my daughter if he is granted bankruptcy? there is also a home that neither are living in and was to be soldbut he will not sign any of the papers to seel the house. Help!!!!!!!!!

Yes, she will be liable for the payments of the bills. She should close all their joint accounts, but was is due is due!!!
