Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
my mom is filling not me
I am a card holder on one of my mother accounts and she just filled for bankruptcy. That card was put on the bankruptcy papers. I paid it every month and I was the one who used it. Now they sent out a letter stating too much activity was used and are contesting it and have gotten a lawyer. What are my options? What are my rights? What do I need to do?

You need to hire an attorney NOW to get this straightened out for you, that's what you need to do.
If there are co-signors on a loan or a credit card, the creditor can often collect the full amount owed from the solvent co-signor upon discharge of bankruptcy for the bankrupt debtor.
Good luck.
