They may garnish your salary, Freeze your Bank accounts and put a Lien on your Home.
Consider Bankruptcy.

You should post this question again in Law Guru under the category: CREDIT, DEBT & COLLECTIONS LAW.
You should consult an attorney ASAP. If you own your house and do nothing, at a minimum, the creditor will get a judgment against you and put a lien on your house (& interest would accrue on that lien). However, in addition to that they can seek to sell your house to satisfy any judgment they obtain, garnish your wages, or sieze bank accounts.
You don't say how much you are being sued for. An attorney may be able to help you negotiate a settlement providing for payment over time of the debt you owe (including, perhaps, some reduction in amount).
If you have other debt problems other than just this one lawsuit, bankruptcy may or may not be a good option for you. You need to talk with an attorney about your options.
