Appealing a Summary Judgement
I am defendant in a complaint in Supreme Court of Westchester. we have been negotiating a settlement but are outside of our 30-day response. I they file for a summary judgement, is there an appeals process?

Presumably you mean a default, not a summary judgment. The prudent thing, under the circumstances, is to either a) work out a stipulation extending your time to answer, or b) put in your answer while continuing to negotiate the settlement.
