Legal Question in Business Law in New York
I'm not sure what area so i guessed
I was in an unofficial business relationship. He decided to part ways and i have his property that is worth under 200 dollars. can he sue me in order to get it back? We were also in a personal relationship which was the end of the business relationship.

Give him back his stuff and move gracefully on with your life. He can indeed sue you, probably successfully, in small claims court for it.
