Legal Question in Business Law in New York
banned
I jsut quit my job at a shoe store and as i was leaving my es boss ssid that if she found out that i was on the property visiting another employee or even shopping that she would call the police and have me banned from the property. Seeing as how i didn't threaten her, attack her, hurt her or stalk her can she legaly have me banned because she doesn't like me?

Re: banned
Sounds to me like your ex-boss is venting. ExBoss could try to get a restraining order against you to ban you from the property, but from what you say she would probably have a hard time getting a judge to grant that (of course, if what you say is incomplete or untrue, then my answer there could change dramatically). Relax; the Schenectady cops are smart enough to recognize when someone is baselessly venting, and the stores where you worked are open to the public, which includes you. However, do make absolutely sure you visit your friends from your old job only when they are not working.
