Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Bill collections
I recently lost a franchise I have vendors calling for payment of past bills. Some want to sue the corporation and me personaly.Itry to explain the business and corporation is over with and i never agreed to personaly be liable for any uncollected payments. My question is am i responsible to pay back any monies.

Not without a personal guaranty....only the entity signing the documents (the contracts) is generally liable.
