Legal Question in Business Law in New York
My boyfriend and I have been working at the same company for 15 years. For at least the last 10 years we have been getting joint health insurance under the domestic partner plan. Every year we are required to complete a dependent eigibility form, which typically asks if your dependents are covered by any other insurance. This year we have been asked the following questions: Are you exclusive? Do you live in the same house? Do you have mutual assets/liabilities? And are either of you legally married to someone else? I have serious issues with all of these questions except the 2nd one. Is there anything I can do about this?

The questions are legitimate and they are formulated to test whether you qualify under the domestic partnership laws.
