Legal Question in Business Law in New York
If my business is offshore and sells to US consumers online, do I have to follow the laws of the US? Every part of the business is located offshore (office/staff/hosting/data center/merchant accounts) except for the product drop shipper (US + worldwide). Does this not mean that I run my business and advertising by the laws of the country the business is located, say Turkey. What say does the FTC and other non-Turkey agencies have in my business and advertising methods? Thank you.
