Re: Business partner stealing
Depending on the amount at stake, the degree of your control over the company and other factors, you may need to retain a commercial litigator to pursue this matter effectively. It may be feasible to negotiate a settlement out of court but based on your short description it is impossible to evaluate your case. While there may be a criminal aspect to your case you should know that you would not be able to obtain any relief in a criminal proceeding and need to commence your own civil action to recover misappropriated funds.
The above response is in the nature of general information, is not legal advice and should not be relied on as such.
