business partnership dissolvement

I have a contract with my biz partner stating if we ever split up, I am entitled to 50% value of the company. We split up and he is only offering me a small amount because of his personal issues towards me. He is not following the contract. My lawyer said if we need to go back to him and pursue ore, we have to sue.

my biz partner used to sexually harass me as well and i have witnesses with statements. how can i make it simple so he follows the contract and stops involving non-provable accusations?

You can't force him to follow a contract. All you can do is solve a dispute through courtroom action. He is counting on you not to fight him. Hence the story.

You mentioned that you are currently represented by an attorney. Frequently, the client is who makes it more complicated than necessary by not following counsel's advise.

Many times the only way to get attention is with legal action. Trying to find an alternative to that is what's complicating the issue.
