can my business be sued from someone in another country
I am wondering if I can be sued in the US by a company from India for loses that his business incurred because he failed to ship on time

Yes. A foreign business can sue you here. Anybody can start a lawsuit. Whether they would be successful or not I have no idea because I don't know all the facts.

Yes they can sue you, I have several clients in India that I am representing. However, not knowing what the facts of your case is, I cannot say whether they would be successful or not.
