Is it Legal For A Reatil Esteblishment To Charge A Fee For Credit Card Proccing?

There is no NYS law that prohibits any credit card vendor from assessing a fee for use of a credit card. It is becoming more and more popular as "swipe fees" (the charge the credit card clearing bank assesses merchants for using the credit card network) are increasing due to fraud.
