Re: about a companie
The ultimate response to your question is that you need to talk with a lawyer; that much is very clear. On this board, though, we cannot answer your question more fully because we do not have enough information.
You can find a lawyer through several sources (LawGuru being one of them). Online sources include www.martindale.com , www.findlaw.com , www.lawyers.com . You can do a search on any of these sites for business lawyers in your geographic area. Traditional sources for finding a lawyer include referrals from the state or county bar association (New York's bar association is at www.nysba.org ; your county bar association can be found by asking the folks at www.nysba.org and telling them your county's name).
If you cannot afford an attorney, and you meet their qualifications for low-income clients, you may be eligible to receive free or low-cost legal help from your county's Legal Aid Society. These folks are in the yellow pages under Lawyers. This is NOT charity; these lawyers are paid, just not by you.
THE INFORMATION PRESENTED HERE IS GENERAL IN NATURE AND IS NOT INTENDED, NOR SHOULD IT BE CONSTRUED, AS LEGAL ADVICE. THIS POSTING DOES NOT CREATE ANY ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US. FOR SPECIFIC ADVICE ABOUT YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, CONSULT YOUR ATTORNEY.
