Legal Question in Business Law in New York

I have a company that works for another company and I need to know how to go about granting permission to use photos they take of me on social media(which I loathe). Should I be charging a fee just as I did before when they used my image for national ads? I believe I should be paid. I need advice as to my rights and what happens once the image is online, i.e. other persons access and spreading it further. Thank you in advance.

This is hard to follow. It sounds like the concern you have is regards to publicity and privacy rights because if they are the ones taking the photos then the rights to those photos rest with them not you even if you are depicted in them.

If this is a serious concern, I suggest that you consult with a lawyer in private and discuss your objectives in more detail. You can start by calling around to several for a free phone consultation, get some insights then pick the best fit to work with.

If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient.

Our firm is now referred by the American Bar Association (see under the New York section):

You need the specifics of your agreement reduced to a binding contract. If no contract, prior dealings and fees may be controlling regarding the concerns you have addressed.
