Legal Question in Business Law in New York
A conflict of interest
I am a real estate agent in new york state and I am also a certified home inspector in new york state. I want to start an s corporation or a limited liability company. I was wondering if you could please tell me the right way I would approach this matter since they are both powered by my self employment. Thank you

This may not be only a legal question. You probably have to consult the ethical guidelines that govern real estate agents. You may have to set up two distinct corporations. These would be cheaper than LLCs and offer the same protection.
I would also recommend a disclosure agreement if you are involved in a deal in both capacities.
