Your question depends on how you define "mistakes." Spelling and grammatical errors will not affect the validity of a contract. Where there is a mistake in a substantive the terms of the agreement, the court will attempt to interpret the contract so as to give it the most fair and reasonable meaning. If the interpretation of a contract proves impossible; it is only then that a court will void the agreement or take some other action.
