Legal Question in Business Law in New York
if a controlling shareholder of a NASDAQ listed company wants to sell shares to an independent third party (which is a private company and not listed), is there any restrictions on the percentage of shareholdings or number of shares he can sell (for example, he can only sell 10%)? Is there any general rules/ regulations in relation to sell of shares by a controlling shareholder of a NASDAQ listed company?
