I hope other attorneys on this knowledge base will supplement my
answer by providing other exceptions to the rule outlined below.
The Latin phrase above translates as "a delegate is not allowed to delegate", i.e., an agent cannot delegate his own responsibilities or obligations as an agent to a sub-agent without the permission or knowledge of the principal of whom he/she is the agent. Therefore, an exception of the above rule is when the principal consents to allow the agent to delegate the agent's duties to a
sub-agent.
