Where does one get a document appostiled?

I am in New York City and need to get a document appostiled. Where do I go? The city clerk's office?

I recevied your inquiry on 8-7-2000.

I have never heard such a term used in the NYC court system.

However, it in order to assist you, I would need to know the type of document that it is.

In the 5 counties of New York, the county clerk (one in each county) acts as the custodian for the Supreme Court records, and the County records as well. There is also a City Clerk at One Centre Street.

Let me know what the document is and what you need to be done.

Contact me directly at [email protected].
