Where does one get a document appostiled?
I am in New York City and need to get a document appostiled. Where do I go? The city clerk's office?

I recevied your inquiry on 8-7-2000.
I have never heard such a term used in the NYC court system.
However, it in order to assist you, I would need to know the type of document that it is.
In the 5 counties of New York, the county clerk (one in each county) acts as the custodian for the Supreme Court records, and the County records as well. There is also a City Clerk at One Centre Street.
