Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Early Decision
Our daughter was accepted to New York University for fall of 2002 through the early decision program. We signed the acceptance form and mailed in a deposit. Now she has changed her mind and wants to attend a different school. What can NYU do to us if we back out.
Thank You

Re: Early Decision
Did you keep a copy of the acceptance form and related paperwork? It probably explains; at least it should. My guess is that they will keep the deposit, or part of it. At any rate, you should contact NYU as quickly as possible.
