Legal Question in Business Law in New York
In a condo bylaw where it states that unit owners must be notified by mail or by telegraph of a meeting is email a legal way of notifying.

No. Email is different than mail and telegraph. The bylaws must be amended.

If the by-laws do not specifically approve of this as an acceptable method of notice, it is unacceptable. There is no assurance this mail will be received. Only one of the approved, written in the by-laws, methods is binding.
