Legal Question in Business Law in New York
ended up paying 37,000 for 22,500 car. Knew it would be 27,500 due to right now its 5000 average over sticker price. But just got confused with all the numbers and feel completely robbed. Do I have a case? Pushed me into lease, insisted I wanted to buy. Gave me prices where lease was cheaper. Then got receipt and saw 4,000 in additional leasing fees. I know this is my fault, I trusted he would be fair and wasn't thinking straight, but this is so wrong. He never gave a price total, its this much down, this month per month, this much buy out. I sat there doing math. Said I wanted to leave and of course said typical inventory so low, only car left, it won't be here. Next day when it was too late called other dealer in different town and they laughed, of course they have.

I'm sorry you had to go through all of this.
Everyone knows when you walk into a car dealership you have to be prepared and understand the process of how buying a car works. And you knew this too, but you didn't do your homework. As you say, this is your fault.
I don't know anything about getting out of a car lease except it's very difficult to do.
Good luck.
