Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Hi. I am an entrepreneur and have been considering creating a website similar to http://www.academon.com/.
This site provides services to anyone looking to buy prewritten papers. The papers should be used for students writing on a topic. The papers can be useful to locate sources and journal articles that the paper writer used. I would like to know if I can legally run a website like this and host it in the United Stated without getting in trouble. I noticed the owner of Academon hosts his site in Barbados.

It depends upon how you run this site and where you get the content and papers from. It's also vital that you don't invite your users to plagiarize their own work. I recently worked with another client who ran a similar website, so I'd be happy to discuss your situation further with you.
