Legal Question in Business Law in New York
My fianc is not a lawyer but a student going for a Masters degree in law. If she does regular (non-law related) business transactions with clients who fully understand that she is not a lawyer, will I be permitted to advertise her Law Master's degree on business correspondences to future clients without there being issues with the unauthorized practice of law (after she graduates).

Until she is admitted to practice law she should not allow anyone to advertise her as having any special skill in legal matters. It is very odd for a master's degree to be the first degree unless the person is licensed in another country. And the same rules apply to foreign legal consultants: no advertising without the license.
