Fund-raising
Are there any legal issues regarding a profit organization(money making business) using fund-raisers to purchase new business related items such as flooring for their business place?

It depends. Games of chance (lotteries, drawings, etc.) have a body of law surrounding them with compliance requirements. State blue-sky and federal securities laws may also be implicated. The question can only be realistically answered after the facts are known -- how, where, how much, by what method, etc. If you'd like feel free to give my office a call and one of us can give you a better sense of the law.
