Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Hello,
I have a question. My financial institution has erroneously sent double payments to the property management company connected to my condo, for the last year. I now have a credit of $2000 with the management company. I am asking for a refund. They say that they are not obligated to refund any money sent to them. Is there anything I can do?

Unless there is an agreement otherwise, the condominium should be giving you a refund for the money. Of course, you can sue the condominium for return of the overpayment. However, for the work and aggrivation, it may be better to use the credit while you continue to occupy the condominium.
