Is it possible to hire a Private CPA to Audit a Construction Company doing Public Work against the Construction Companies will ?

If the company is a private company the answer is no. However, information submitted to the public is available for inspection under the Freedom of Information Act.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other answer. A private company doing public work remains essentially private. Unless a contract gives you a specific right to audit them, you're out of luck. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
