Legal Question in Business Law in New York
With holding fee while insurance claim finishes
Chandelier fell down and put a hole in area rug, client is refusing to pay our fee until our insurance claim is finished, our claim is in the works but held from unable to contact his eletrician is it legal for them to hold back our fee for pick up and delivery?

Not if client requested that you do the work, and you completed the work. In other words, if your contract was with the client and not the insurance company.
