Legal Question in Business Law in New York
In my job, I come across a lot of weird names on birth certificates or other forms. Some of them are very funny, and i'd like to make some sort of blog/book of the names. Is there any kind of legal issue with doing this? What information would I need to black out? Obviously I wouldn't post their entire birth certificate.
Thanks!

As a general proposition, if you limit it to the name, there should be no problem. Anything more could raise issues.
However, there's another issue. Presumably these certificates and forms are not yours. Your method of access to them may preclude your using them in any fashion other than for your employer's work purposes.
