Legal Question in Business Law in New York
We had a judgement against some one & their property. This person filed banruptcy & then died. A bank sold this property & the court claims that they didn't know there was a lien against it & say we can't collect any money. Is this legAL?

As a Franchise Attorney I can only say it's not possible to say without examining all records and documents. For example, was the judgment perfected in any way? Usually courts make decisions on the basis of everything that's in the record. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
