Judgment is enforceable without rerecording for a period of ten years. It can be enforced by attaching your assets (bank accounts, etc.,) for a long period to come and it will adversely affect your credit whereby every application for credit (car, house, loan, mortgage, credit card, etc.,) will cost you by an significan factor. Try to resolve it before it causes further damage.
