Legal Question in Business Law in New York
late billing for work done
we had boiler and air conditioning work done on our plant in 2007 for which we were never billed. There are signed off work orders but no bill was ever sent. Now we have been billed but the company produces no former bills that we ignored. Are we legally obligated to pay the full amount two years later?

Re: late billing for work done
The statute of limitations for breach of contract in NY is 6 years. So if the work was done at your company's request, you have to pay.
