Any business transaction lawyer (myself included) should be able to help you. My suggestion is that you call two or three lawyers, discuss your business with them and pick the one you get along with the best.

I concur with my colleague. In addition you should know that there is a publication requirement in New York for LLCs. The costs of publication vary greatly and a business lawyer, such as my colleague and myself, may be able to help you reduce the cost.

As a Franchise Attorney I can only add the following. You need to first consider why you need to create an LLC, then the other alternatives, including a corporation. A corporation, for example, can elect a fiscal instead of the normal calendar year end. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
