Legal Question in Business Law in New York
I am a leaseholder at a seasonal recreational park In New York state, run by a not-for-profit corporation. We all have recreational vehicles, i.e., trailers.
There are about 800 leaseholders, and approximately 10% of the leaseholders are in varying stages of being behind or in default on their yearly dues for operating and maintaining the park.
Because of this, the majority of paid-up leaseholders would like to see the names and/or addresses of those in default published for the park bulletin board.
Some people have said there will be a privacy issue/problem with this which will get us in trouble. Would this be true?
