What is the advantage of an LLP over an LLC

An LLP is a limited liability partnership. It requires that you have two or more entities involved in it.

An LLC is a limited liability company. This form can have a sole member.

Other than that, there's really not a lot of difference between them. Both forms drop the "corporate veil" for personal liability issues provided you comply with the requirements for maintaining the separate-entity form.
