In NY you can get expedited service for an additional $25.00, which is well worth it and that gets it done in about 3 business days. I would make sure you have some legal attention on this especially as it pertains to the operating agreement as this is the most critical aspect. And you should also make sure you consider your trademark before investing in that brand to make sure it is not infringing. Registering the business with the state does nothing to protect the mark and this is often misunderstood.
