Legal Question in Business Law in New York
How long does the process take after sending in my LLC forms?

If you go through us, you get all your documents same day. Formation, legal publishing, EIN and operating agreement all for $895 complete.
If you sent the filing in regular processing, it will take the SOS about 2-3 weeks. In NY you can get expedited service for an additional $25.00, which is well worth it and that gets it done in about 3 business days. You will still need to wait for the certificate of formation to come in the mail before you can open your business bank account.
I would make sure you have some legal attention on this especially as it pertains to the operating agreement as this is the most critical aspect. And you should also make sure you consider your trademark before investing in that brand to make sure it is not infringing. Registering the business with the state does nothing to protect the mark and this is often misunderstood.
If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient. Our firm is now referred by the American Bar Association (see under the New York section):
