Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Manager change
I own a small printing company. One of my customers, the manager of a big restaurant, placed an order which I fulfilled and delivered. However, the restaurant has recently been purchased by a new buyer. The manager refuses to pay for the order, along with his new boss. The order is worth a hefty sum of money. Is there any way to receive my money?

Re: Manager change
There may be a way to recover the money that is due to you. However, I would need more information in order to determine who may be liable for your fees. Please feel free to contact my office if we may be of any assistance in this matter.
Re: Manager change
You would commence an action against both the original company and the new company. The cause of action against the original company is for breach of contract.
The cause of action against the new company is under various sections of the the NY Debtor - Creditor law.
I have successfully litigated these issues in the past. Feel free to contact my office to discuss further.
