money lending
When i was 17 i took $1000 out of a joint account with my mother, and lent it to somebody. I am having trouble getting my money back, being presented with one excuse and lie after another. What, if anything, can i do about getting my money back?

File a small claims action in the town/city
where the borrower lives
The filing fee is usually $ 10.00 or less
and this can be done without lawyers
Bring the court proof of the withdrawal
proof of the loan to the other individual
and proof that you have asked, in writing,
for the money back
