Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Newly Drafted Contract Signed

If my father workes 40 hours a week, but recently signed a contract which states that he is a part-time employee. Is the previous contract, which shows that he is a full time employee, still in effect? Since he works a full-time schedule, isn't his company liable to him for those hours? What is the legal standing of that contract?

Re: Newly Drafted Contract Signed

Your question cannot be answered without a full review of both contracts. Normally, a superseding contract is enforceable if there is, among other things, adequate consideration for the entry into that contract.
