Legal Question in Business Law in New York

non payment of services rendered

I am a consultant with an s corp. The agency that pays my s corp was paid by a company I work for for May, June and July 2008. They were supposed to then pay me. They will not respond to any of my emails and have not yet paid me. What can I do to get my payment.

If you have a contract or anything else in writing confirming the arrangement, it might cover this and explain your rights. If not, you need to sue the firm you were hired by to collect.

Re: non payment of services rendered

I am an attorney whose practice is focused in the area of debt collection. I represent clients on a contingency fee basis. This means I only get paid if I collect your money and my fee is a percentage of the money I collect. Statistics show debts referred to an attorney have a greater chance of being recovered and my success rate is above the industry average. If you are really serious about collecting this money you should contact me at [email protected]

Re: non payment of services rendered

Unfortunately, your options insofar as collection goes are limited to two:

1. engage a collection agency or attorney, for a percentage of the recovery.

2. sue.

If I can be of further help, please let me know.
